Radiolarian Sofa by Lazerian Studio

Claire Sullivan - Friday, January 29, 2010

More from the magical world of cardboard, The Radiolarian Sofa. The corrugated cardboard furniture inspired by wasps' nests and sea organisms are the latest releases from Lazerian Studio. The Bravais Armchair and Radiolarian Sofa were produced for Interiors 2010 in Birmingham.

Mags Lounge Setting by Hay

Claire Sullivan - Wednesday, November 18, 2009

Designed by Hay Studio, the Mags Sofa is available as a 2-seater, 2.5-seater and a 3-seater lounge - and from personal experience, it's also comfortable with the back at the perfect height to rest your arms. We also like the artwork by Cathrine Raben Davidsen in the background.

Available locally from here.

Barocco Sofa for Zanotta

Claire Sullivan - Monday, November 16, 2009

We love the Barocco Sofa series by Zanotta for both its elegance and mix of traditional aesthetics with modern shapes. The rounded and flared armrests and the diamond quilted upholstery act as a subtle contrast to the otherwise minimalist design of this sofa.

Zanotta is available locally here.

Alfred Sofa by Baxter

Claire Sullivan - Monday, November 09, 2009

The Alfred Sofa by Italian manufacturer Baxter is the perfect example of masculine chic. The subtle variations in the leathers colour enhance the natural beauty of this sofa.

Baxter is available locally here.

Claire Sullivan - Tuesday, October 20, 2009

The modular Como Sofa has been on display at the legendary Ice Hotel in Sweden. 5500 square metres of ice and snow are every year constructed into a new hotel by designers and artists from all over the world.

BoConcept is available locally here.

Lucrezia Sofa by Baxter

Claire Sullivan - Friday, October 16, 2009

The Lucrezia Sofa by Italian furniture manufacturers Baxter screams elegance and sophistication at it's very best. My current interior obsession is a healthy mix of modern and classical. There is nothing more impressive than the backdrop of modern clean architecture juxtaposed by the ornate detailing of one or two key classical pieces of furniture to add an element of history to a new project.

Baxter is available locally here.
