Finnish furniture company Artek and fashion label Comme des Garçons have launched their joint creation, the STANDARD fragrance. A blend of Finnish Labrador Tea, Twinflower Linnea Borealis, metal and rust in the base notes and fennel, ginger, lemon, musk, saffron and cedarwood in the top notes. The visual aesthetics of the STANDARD fragrance were developed to stand alongside Artek’s simplistic design ideology and existing furniture products.  

Despite the seemingly simple concepts developed for the first of the Maison Martin Margiela Line 13 collection, the first accessories are true to the fashion brand's ideals. Lamps, Russian dolls and feather quills are all pieces that would look right at home in the austere interiors of the international Margiela boutiques.
