In the process of kiting out our new office space I have been introduced to the wonders of Resene Magnetic Paint. French design company Bleu Nature create products with a distinctive driftwood theme. Their frequent use of unconventional organic materials for all manor of objects such as tables, chairs and lamps sets them apart. They have recently released the Pixels of Driftwood in Relief, which consists of wooden branches of various diameters which are glued together vertically onto particle board, making the panels mountable on any wall surface.

Merus Winery in Napa Valley, California

Claire Sullivan - Monday, September 21, 2009

Merus winery in Napa Valley, California is more than just your average cellar retail outlet. We love their choice of lights - the Allegro Pendant by Foscarini hangs centre-stage above the main table, whilst Tom Dixon's Beat Lights adorn the bar area. Exposed beams are the only reference to the past in this interior design strategy - it looks like the kind of place we could spend the afternoon.

Lights available locally from here and go here for Merus winery.

Constructed from cardboard, the erected playhouse is designed to be coloured and decorated by using crayons or markers, allowing each Villa to take on the decorating tastes of the budding designer.

Love them or not, you cannot discount the interest drawn by the ever controversial Campana brothers. Today at the fair crowds gathered around the newly released Cipria Sofa's (as shown above). Designed to be added to list of iconic pieces the brothers have produced, the Cipria is constructed from nine cushions fixed to a metal frame, Each cushion is covered in fake fur and comes in varying colours  and fur lengths. simple inspiration - kimono

Claire Sullivan - Monday, March 30, 2009

If only all offices felt this peaceful. This seems like a space that no matter the owner -  it would always be clean, with a gentle breeze passing through. Japanese designer Nosigner found inspiration for his own office interior in Sendagi, Tokyo from a traditional hagoromo (feather robe) kimono.

The feather curtain covers a vast majority of the space, carefully hiding the shelving units whilst remaining beautiful to look at.  The interior is also furnished with Nosigner products including the Pokkari hanging light and Arborism table.
